Roedd Dafydd Llewelyn yn dafarnwr y Bryn Hyfryd wrth y capel. Cynhaliodd eisteddfodau yno o 1837. Roedd yn fardd a seryddwr. Roedd ei fab Thomas Dafydd Llewelyn, Llewelyn Alaw yn delynor a cherddor o fri. Fe’i cleddir yn y fynwent. ow.ly/phTk50E68n1

Dafydd Llewelyn kept the Mount Pleasant Inn near the chapel. He held eisteddfodau there from 1837. He was a poet & astronomer. His son Thomas Dafydd Llewelyn, known as Llewelyn Alaw was a harpist and teacher of high repute who is buried at the chapel. ow.ly/AWCH50E69Wn

But no doubt if Labour even hinted at that one of the so-called newspapers would scream it was fiscally irresponsible and they'd u-turn.

Lepa Radić was a 17-year-old freedom fighter who was executed by the Germans in 1943. At the age of 15, she witnessed the German invasion of Yugoslavia in 1941. Despite falling under the sinister grip of the nazis, the people of Yugoslavia fiercely resisted. Following her arrest and imprisonment by the puppet government of Yugoslavia, Lepa Radić was liberated by Partisan fighters. She joined their cause, actively participating in the resistance movement's frontline operations, which sought to overthrow the occupying forces and establish a socialist government. Tragically, her involvement in the resistance movement ultimately led to her demise. Radic took part in a mission to rescue 150 women and children, engaging in combat against enemy troops. However, she was captured and condemned to death by hanging. During the three days preceding her execution, she endured torture in an attempt to extract information about her fellow partisans. Despite the torment, she remained steadfast and refused to provide any answers. Just before her hanging, she was given a final opportunity to disclose the identities of her comrades, to which she defiantly replied, "I am not a traitor to my people. Those whom you inquire about will reveal themselves once they have eradicated every single one of you evildoers."
