Pedophilia is already legal. What's harmful and illegal is child molestation. (Pedophilia is the sexual attraction to children, which no one picks or can change.) The emotionality is understandable, but helping with a problem requires knowing the first thing about it.

So yes, getting Eric to test whether stigma has an impact was exactly the point.

@CapitainPants @liueric40542933 @MLewandowska However unwittingly, you just said (again) that I'm right. Hypotheticals are for testing the logic of an argument. Now acknowledging that that *wasn't* what you were testing, I was correct to say you don't know what hypotheticals are for.

(I used to teach logic, to engineering undergrads designing logic boards. So, attitude as a response will need more volume. Try CAPSLOCK.)

The issue here (unless I've really missed something) is putting less qualified black students above others in admissions, and my point is that it's hurt a lot of those students too.

Who do Asians think they are automatically entitled to go to ivy league schools while black people arent ? Same black people are the reason you can even go to those schools in the first place.

As Thomas Sowell describes, about 98% of students can't handle the load at Cornell. A 90th percentile black student is a really good student, but they are not ready for Cornell. (ctd)
