I'm struck by all the righties who asked, "why is this information coming out now?" and inferred there was some secret agenda behind it. It was in the first paragraphs of the NY Times article.

That prompted her to come forward.
And while I understand people wishing she had come forward sooner, I don't spend a lot of time second-guessing how sex abuse victims deal with what they've been through. It's their lives, they've got to make the decisions that feel right for them.
