If Trump attacks tonight, Iran's overwhelming response will begin immediately. All people should prepare to leave the criminal family dictatorships in the Persian Gulf at once.

@s_m_marandi telling millions of civilians in qatar, saudi & the UAE to "evacuate" because you plan to destroy their infrastructure isn't resistance — it's openly threatening the exact war crime iran calls barbaric when done to it. the mask slips

This clarification by Prof. MaRandi is, in itself, a reflection of how deceptive and shameless this man is. To start with, he fails to answer the central question raised by his original remarks. If his criticism was directed at Pakistan's state leadership rather than the Pakistani people, then he should have said so explicitly. Pakistan's foreign and security policy is conducted by identifiable state and government institutions under the respective military and political leaders, not by 250 million Pakistanis. Precision matters, particularly when making sweeping public accusations during a regional war. Nor does his clarification engage with the substance of the criticism. Pakistan undertook repeated diplomatic efforts with Tehran during the conflict, including two visits by Field Marshal Asim Munir to Iran and subsequent diplomatic outreach at Tehran's own request following the escalation. If Prof. MarRandi believes those decisions reflected a lack of national integrity, he should identify the specific policies or institutions he is criticising and defend that claim. Narrowing the meaning of an imprecise statement only after it has been challenged is not clarification; it is damage control. His broader clarification regarding the GCC is equally unpersuasive. Branding Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other Gulf states as mere US puppets ignores the complexity and independence of their foreign policies. Equally, by referring simply to "Yemen," he appears to conflate the Yemeni state with the Houthi authorities in Sana'a—a political position rather than an established fact. The GCC's disagreement with the Houthis did not translate into support for the war in Gaza; Gulf states consistently condemned the conflict, called for a ceasefire and expanded humanitarian assistance, even as they rejected the Houthis' claim to speak for all of Yemen. I have serious issues with almost every word that comes out of Prof. MaRandi's mouth and is then widely shared by Iranophiles, both desi and gora. He also needs to clarify the reported claims that he holds U.S. citizenship as well. If true, it would reinforce my suspicion that he may be working toward a larger agenda—a psyop intended to achieve the opposite of what he publicly claims to defend. As my friend @hashurtag says, something does not add up in his case. How come he is free to air offensive views on social media, and receives unusual airtime by popular vlogers? This is a reasonable question, given the potentially deadly cost of his narrative for Gulf-Muslim unity, stability and progress, and especially in terms of lives lost during this war on either side of the battlefront.
Seyed Mohammad Marandi@s_m_marandi

Greetings. This comment, made during airstrikes against Iran, is not about the wonderful people of Pakistan - whom I have frequently praised in interviews with Pakistani journalists - nor is it derogatory toward anyone, unlike the language used by those who attack me. The affiliations of many of these attackers are clear: they are individuals who have traditionally aligned themselves with US allies in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and who routinely insult Iran. Yet governments across the region hold a view of Trump that diverges sharply from Iran's. When our children and leaders were attacked and killed with the help of neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf, most regional governments offered no condemnation. Despite the ongoing genocide in Gaza, many of these same governments - even while condemning the Zionist regime - openly call Trump and the US regime friends. When Yemen stood with Gaza, most governments did not support Yemen, owing to the influence of the Saudi and UAE regimes. This is not something any regional leader would deny or conceal; these are open policies. The Iranian government, in contrast, sees Trump as an irredeemable evil enemy who must be defeated, and considers any conciliatory behavior from the Iranian state as unjustified. These differing state-level perspectives, however, say nothing about the views of the people themselves, nor do they reflect the realities of state-to-state relations. The empire seeks to divide us. It will fail.

@ahmadishtiaq You might be💯right— “psyop intended to achieve the opposite of what he publicly claims to defend.” He’s aiming to have all the countries involved & fight each other. What war mongers promote. Not talk about diplomacy or peace. Concerning..🤔if his accnt has been hijacked

Marandi says “We are not Egypt, we are not Pakistan.” Correct. You could never be Egypt the only Arab state that fought Israel head-on and forced a war that changed the map. And you could never be Pakistan the country that built its own nuclear deterrent under sanctions while others still rent and mortgage theirs. Some nations make history. Others just talk.

Definitely, Iran 🇮🇷 is not Pakistan 🇵🇰 because: Pakistan never lets its enemies to eliminate its political, religions, academic and military leadership within 30 seconds of a war starting not once, but twice. You claim you’re not scared of death, but ground reality is different. Jr. is missing from the action. Stop "Muo kee firing" and accept the reality 🤦🏻‍♂️
