Its just incredible, that you all think you can define what YOU mean, when you say "Zionism" - when we can see "Zionists" in Israel calling for the extermination of peoples - you think you can exempt yourself; Yet if anyone says "Free Palestine" or "From the River to the Sea" - you also demand that they are tarred with the very worst associations. I get that you hate Zionism. But could you please explain why you hold those views? Zionism is the belief that Jews are entitled to have a Jewish state on their ancestral lands. Islam has conquered 57 countries, each of which was once non-Islamic. The number of people subjugated and killed by either ideologies is rather tilted heavily toward Islam. So why is Zionism your biggest fear? If you live say in Montana in 200 years, would you predict that Islam or Zionism would be more likely to be coming for you?

Feeling very let down by the government today but the fight will continue

We need to stop blithely naming people racist, because they make a race based comment, observation - or even (horrors) - a mean joke. Being "Generally dis-or-inclined towards a race" - by experience or prejudice is a human right to sovereign mind, is not a big deal, and not racist. People generalize about people of all stipes and colours - all of the time. Calling (often informedly) opinionated people Racists to shut them up for political agendas is a social cancer.

Want to see the rise in anti-Semitism in action? A 20-ish TradCath therapist for my 5-year-old son has quit. Why? She can't work in his Jewish preschool or our Jewish home. She codes it as "politics" and "current world affairs," but after follow-ups with the agency, it WAS because we're Jews. Or at least, we're Jews who believe that you can't claim Israel or "the Jews" somehow secretly control Trump and the U.S. government. It couldn't haven't been over me supporting the war, because — at most — I'm skeptical of the war, and have been all along. What is ironclad, however, is that there's no secret Jewish control of the U.S., via the State of Israel or otherwise. But there are a LOT of Zoomers who believe that. And a growing number of self-described traditional Catholics do, as well. In other words, the exact demographic of my little boy's therapist who doesn't want to work with or around Jews anymore. Not coincidentally, it's also the exact demographic targeted by the likes of Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly and Carrie Prejean. You may not care about whether a health care provider refuses to work with little Jewish children. But what if it's other medical providers who won't treat Jews? Or worse? Never mind that anti-Semitic attacks in America are up almost five-fold since 2017. Do the people who have started echoing the "Israel controls America" nonsense even understand the ramifications of how that feeds anti-Semitism? Do they understand that you can't claim that "Jews" or the Jewish state are secretly leading America off a cliff and potentially into permanent ruin without inflaming anti-Semitism? Because you know who DOES understand that Jews will directly suffer from these new "anti-Israel" narratives? The very people pushing them: Tucker, Candace, Megyn, Prejean, and their minions.

I used to love Jew jokes. Never saw the harm in comedy. Went to Israel about 15 years ago thinking I’d come home with the greatest jokes EVER. Nope. They take that shiz serious out there. Turns out, it’s because the older folks know where it leads. This, plus Qatar dumped millions into selling the hate these recent years.

I have obviously been exposed to the worst manifestations of Jew-hatred imaginable beginning in my childhood in Lebanon. But I must say that seeing people whom I have been on very friendly terms, and in some instances have promoted their voices, delve into Nazi-level Jew-hatred is tough to process. How did I sit down at a table with such an individual? Did they hate me then but hide it? Or did they develop their current positions recently?
