@AltairAcerbi @Everton36Ce @banderas_pavai @skycipher Besides all the foolishness about Sarah not getting her memories of Chuck back, the incomplete ending of the show fails me, the fan, because it doesn’t allow me to, the fan, to say “goodbye” to characters that had been a part of my life foe 5 seasons. And that sucks.

@Everton36Ce @banderas_pavai @skycipher The thing is, for all the other characters you see a happy ending... For Chuck and Sarah you have to imagine a happy ending. To me, clearly the writers' intention was an open ending, to continue generating discussions for a long time.../

@SpinGTV7 Do I like that C&S finally got together? Of course.
Unfortunately, to believe that they actually still belong together requires me to put the entirety of the Misery Arc in a “black box” as if it didn’t happen.
It’s just how I saw the story that was told.

@Capt_Mediocre Well it kinda does. Sarah finally realizes she won't lose Chuck which was the primary idea of the arc - Sarah fearing Chuck will change due to jim becoming a spy.

"Shut up and kiss me" #Chuck in "Chuck Vs The Other Guy". As annyoing as Shaw's arc was the payoff was so good.

@Capt_Mediocre @SpinGTV7 I hate the misery arc, but I wait for the DYLM scene and the release of 2 1/2 seasons of tension. For some, it's not enough, for others it's magical. Admittedly, I fit in the magical category :-)

@garrickgirl @SpinGTV7 I would agree with you, except that for me, the Misery Arc did such a stellar job at dismantling that tension that I don’t see how C&S get to DYLM without some serious discussions. The previous 12.5 eps of drama just “poof” disappear. Which is why I see OG simply as a reset ep.

But a work relationship that involves sex, kissing, and romantic encounters (even if with fake feelings)? Is that what Sham is in your view?

1. The red test is an act of love to save Chuck's life (in case he decides to take the test) or soul (in case he decides not to take it).
2. She rejects Chuck bc she believes he has betrayed his moral principles.
3. Chuck isn't dead when she goes to dinner with Shaw.

@skycipher so many people saying that our Sarah didn't do anything wrong during this period that I wonder what I missed. She gave the red test order. She rejected Chuck and didn't trust him. And worst of all, she's celebrating with a romantic dinner happily over Chuck's grave? It kills me.

@AltairAcerbi @Capt_Mediocre @oh_chuck_me @lkjohnson1950 @creative I wish they’d gone for an ending that generated happiness rather than discussion! Ultimately the misery arc got Chuck and Sarah to where everyone wanted them to be so I can give it some latitude. The ending didn’t do that so I’m less forgiving. But obviously mileage varies 😆

@oh_chuck_me @Capt_Mediocre @AltairAcerbi @creative Feelings are never wrong unless they are based errors in facts. The facts are that Chuck and Sarah both act like dicks at some point. I can accept that. But, to me, they both deviate from the characters they built in S1,S2. That I cannot accept.

can be summed up like this.
It doesn’t matter what the showrunners / writers intended to do.
It only matters what I think they did.

That everytime I see Shaw with SW I want to hurl, because it’s gross.
That I see Chuck as a total dick at and of FN.
That DYLM is not earned and Charah don’t belong together by OG’s end?
