@worldlens24 @remarks Because fuel was purchased at a certain price and prices take time to come back down.

@remarks Jet fuel doubled. Airlines are cancelling routes. Ticket prices are surging. And Trump just declared the Strait of Hormuz 'permanently open' and the conflict over.
So why is the global aviation industry still pricing in a war that supposedly ended?

@SAFCPaddy Because it's no consequence to anyone how much money anyone else has.

@data_republican It's not a party problem, it's a voter problem.

I have not been in favor of a serious third party after watching what happened with Ross Perot. If we lose the midterms, I may change my mind. #MAGA

@C_3C_3 All depends on your perspective. I don't see any of those set to "infinity".

@imPenny2x Because the whole of your income is not directly reported to the IRS via W2 and the IRS doesn't know what you have spent your income on (that could be a credit/cut). It may fall into some rule that's in the 80k pages of our tax code. That's why.

@marklevinshow Who cares? Keep your arguments to this plane of existence.

Does faith really demand that we never go to war? I don’t believe that—and I explain why.
I take on this growing idea that religion—whether Christianity or Judaism—requires total passivity, even in the face of evil, violence, and mass suffering. That’s not how I understand faith. True faith values decency, humanity, and the protection of innocent life.
So the real question is this: if you have the power to stop evil—to prevent torture, murder, and destruction—are you supposed to do nothing?
I walk through the difference between wars of aggression and just wars, and why protecting the innocent can be a moral obligation, especially for those in positions of authority. But I also acknowledge the complexity—these decisions require prudence, judgment, and an understanding of consequences.
This is where faith, morality, and real-world responsibility intersect—and where the answers aren’t always easy, but they are necessary.
