Good evening to you all. Good Friday will be a day of sunshine and showers. #StormDave is set to bring some disruptive weather to our shores on Saturday night into Easter Sunday. Met Office yellow warnings for high winds and snow have been issued. Kirsteen has the latest.
Hearts defeats this season,
Aberdeen - 4th bottom
Hibs - 5th
St Mirren - 3rd bottom
Rangers - 3rd
Kilmarnock- 2nd Bottom
Surely thats down to team mentality? Pointless winning against Rangers n Celtic then losing to the dregs of the league.
@Official_T4O IF they'd beaten Motherwell they'd have been 3 points behind Hearts, GD for Hearts would have been 3 goals better off (if rangers won 1-0) so assuming rangers were going to beat Hearts by 4 goals on sunday would be the only way they would've been 'lead the pack'
''It was telling though that McLean blew dead on the six despite Motherwell players time-wasting so obviously that even Chris Sutton commented.
Sutton and Crocker were in fine form after hearing that Celtic had snatched a late winner against lowly Livingston in what should have been a cricket score. Livingston then went on to miss a huge chance to equalise at the death.
So Rangers fail the first test of a week that offered the chance for them to lead the pack after Sunday's game against Hearts. While Hearts and Celtic were fortunate to scrape wins, getting the three points on the board is all that matters between now and the end of the season.
Danny Rohl has to look at his approach to this game and the one at Easter Road that have seen his side drop four huge points in the last two away games. Both times Rangers went in cautiously, and both times they've failed to win and created very little.
With so much attacking talent on the bench, it seems criminal now to have kept pacy wingers there when there was space to exploit against ten men.
The only crumb of comfort is that Hearts and Celtic will both drop points to each other before the season ends, but Rohl needs to take the handbrake off now.
His negative approach to these games has put Rangers in a position where they have to beat Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday. McInnes and co were coming to spoil and time-waste anyway, but they've even more of a cushion now.
Kilmarnock on Sunday may not be the easy victory Celtic fans expect, with their own side struggling past Dundee and Livingston too. Killie put four past St Mirren tonight and played well against Rangers with ten for a long spell. McCann and Dodds have beaten that team as well with Rangers and seem to have an eye for weak points.
Overall though, a sore night for Rohl and Rangers with two massive points dropped yet again and their rivals winning. They've put massive pressure on themselves not to be in third place instead of first come Sunday, and for all Rohl has re-ignited a dead season, for the first time his domestic tactics are really in question.''
@alstra78 on tonight's draw for Rangers and the context of the title race at large.

@The_Tman10 However, someone has to explain why Hearts are allowed to just take free kicks from wherever we they like. Done it against Dundee and got a goal and again tonight.
