@Nstig8tor62 @xAviation Imagine someone wearing gloves for a keyboard, at your office. Now you know.
English

@xAviation I want my pilot to wear gloves. It gives me confidence.

@discolando The only thing pilots take pride in, that we don't get paid for. 👌🧈

@astrofalls This reminds me of the intro to StarTrek TNG. Nice shot 🤌

I will never forgive Andrew Berry for what he just did to @NickChubb. On behalf of Cleveland @Browns fans, were sorry, Batman. 😭

@sentdefender Yea, happens to us all the time around here. Off the coast of Israel, Jordan and Saudi all the time. This is FR24 doing its best.

Military aircraft over the Persian Gulf, off the coast of Qatar, appear to be suffering from some form of GPS interference or jamming, possibly from Iran; with a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster lll (RCH856) appearing to make an extremely strange flight pattern after taking off from Al Udeid Air Base.

@TheIntelFrog @defense_civil25 They literally make up shit all the time, nobody should take that account seriously in the slightest.
English

There are NO B-52s on Diego Garcia per satellite imagery.
Don't know where @defense_civil25 made this up from, but satellite imagery exists that doesn't show what they're claiming.
Last pass had 4 B-2s and 5 KC-135s on the ramp.

@MCCCANM That is actually a very good question, and we can put upper limits on this because the performance of both aircraft are well documented.
English

I tried to research this at one point, but didn’t get far.
Many wonder how a 747 could lift that much weight. My hypothesis: Shuttle’s wings provided lift…enough to offset some large percent of weight. I doubt it pulled the 747 up, but may not have been a huge problem, either.

This goes against every safety culture gain that we have made in the last 30 years. People make mistakes, and we put barriers in place to trap the mistakes, not the people. Do better.

The @NTSB and @FAANews are investigating the Chicago Midway International Airport incident. I will provide more updates once I have them. However, it is imperative that pilots follow the instructions of air traffic controllers. If they do not, their licenses will be pulled.

@concernsmount @DJSnM @KerbalNut Usually the recordings are taken from a handheld radio(or similar) on the ground without much line of sight. The sound quality in the cockpit is far better.... Usually...
English

@DJSnM @KerbalNut i can't understand a single word that comes over the headphones in those youtube videos, speaking of bad reception. i don't know how there are any pilots still alive

After 3 months of not being able to line up more IFR lessons I managed to get out again today in a Cirrus. But because it was so long we just did the equivalent of a check ride to knock the rust off, happy to say I'm still up for it even with some rough air.
But it might be the last time I fly this plane as the school is transitioning to the 7th Generation Cirrus and I don't want to we switching back and forth between avionics.
