👍 this is will help fight against phishing. But the underlying problem is SMS sender name spoof. That does need to be solved. Many vulnerable people will still click on gov-sg[.]com if the SMS sender shows up as GOVSG for example. straitstimes.com/tech/tech-news…

It looks like the protection registry for SMS phishing in #singapore didn't work! Managed to still send fake SMS with names of different companies that are on the list. @dbsbank @dbs_care @SingPostCusCare @LazadaSG @IMDAsg
