Your Mindset Is The Real Poverty, ZANU PF Is Just A Scapegoat.
Stop blaming ZANU PF Party for every problem in your life. Many people have become comfortable with complaining instead of changing their mindset and working hard to improve their situation. The truth is, success starts with discipline, focus and hard work. Think bigger, work harder, and one day you will thank me.
Look at the Varakashi4ED National Vice Chairperson, Cde Mairosi Watungwa , here with his sweet potatoes. He wakes up at 4am every day to work for the life he wants. He sends his children to boarding schools, puts food on the table and enjoys life because he understands the value of hard work.
After selling tobacco, despite poor prices this season, he moved on to sweet potatoes. Next it’s maize to GMB, rapoko to Delta. That is the mindset of a hustler.
He did not fold his hands and say, “I am ZANU PF” or “I am a Varakashi4ED leader, so money must come to me.” No. He works for everything he has.
As Varakashi4ED Mashonaland West Chairman, I have interacted with senior ZANU PF leaders, Ministers, Politburo members, Central Committee members and provincial leaders. One thing I have learnt is that these people work extremely hard. They do not sleep on opportunities. They hustle, strategize and push every day to build better lives for themselves and their families.
If you spend your whole life complaining and blaming ZANU PF for your poverty, your grandchildren will inherit nothing except excuses. Opposition politicians want you trapped in anger and hopelessness because misery is their political fuel.
Do not let them become enemies of your progress.
Politics is not a company that pays your salary. Work hard first, build yourself first, then participate in politics.
Change your mindset, ignore the noise, focus on productivity, and one day you will thank me.

Why Zimbabweans Are Rallying Behind ED Till 2030.
President Mnangagwa’s work and leadership have shown why many Zimbabweans believe he should continue leading until 2030. The infrastructure development, economic projects and transformation witnessed under the Second Republic speak for themselves. From roads, dams and airports to energy and mining projects, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has delivered tangible results for the people of Zimbabwe, and that is why many fully support CAB3.
What is even more telling is that those seeking to replace him have failed to demonstrate meaningful leadership where they had opportunities. In Kuwadzana, Nelson Chamisa failed to complete a community library project which remained stuck at slab level for nearly 20 years during his time as MP. Ironically, the same project was completed within a week after Chalton Hwende replaced him as the constituency’s legislator. That alone shows the difference between rhetoric and delivery.
Chamisa later went on to destroy the opposition structure that had been left intact by the late Morgan Tsvangirai. Instead of strengthening and uniting the opposition movement, internal divisions, confusion and endless power struggles became the order of the day under his leadership.
Others have also shown a lack of maturity and statesmanship. While the nation mourned the late Linda Tsungirirai Masarira , Jacob Ngarivhume was busy attacking her even in death, using unprintable words instead of showing humanity and respect. In contrast, President Mnangagwa displayed leadership and compassion by sending a condolence message to her family despite the fact that Linda was politically opposed to him and aspired to the highest office in the land. That is the difference between statesmanship and political bitterness.
Then there are politicians like Tendai Biti , Jameson Timba and Lovemore Madhuku , Fadzai Mahere etc , who thrive on noise and political drama while taking advantage of CAB3 discussions for political relevance and personal survival.
Within ZANU PF Party , the position remains clear and united. No one has openly shown interest in leading the party before 2030. At the People’s Conference in Mutare, members rallied behind Resolution Number One, reaffirming their support for President Mnangagwa and the party’s vision for continuity until 2030. The focus remains on unity, stability, continuity and development.

Zimbabweans must confront reality with honesty and courage the nation is crying out for decisive leadership, stability, and national renewal. Increasingly, many citizens see General Constantino Chiwenga as a figure capable of restoring dignity, order, and confidence in the future of the country.
Recent events have reinforced this perception. When General Chiwenga returned home, many Zimbabweans felt a noticeable sense of calm return to the political atmosphere. The tension, fear, and uncertainty that had weighed heavily on ordinary citizens appeared to ease. For many, his presence symbolised stability at a time when the country has been overwhelmed by political conflict, abuse of power, and deepening mistrust within the ruling establishment surrounding Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Under the current administration, many Zimbabweans believe the country has become dominated by cartels, politically connected elites, and profiteers who have captured state institutions for personal enrichment. Institutions meant to protect citizens are increasingly viewed as weakened, compromised, and manipulated by individuals with little regard for justice or accountability. Across the nation, frustration continues to grow over corruption, intimidation, economic hardship, and widening inequality.
By contrast, General Chiwenga’s presence has created a growing sense among ordinary citizens that there remains someone within the system who understands the suffering of the people. In his absence, fear and uncertainty often dominate public sentiment; in his presence, many feel renewed hope that Zimbabwe can still avoid further decline.
Importantly, Zimbabweans must also resist imprisoning themselves within old perceptions. Many people once questioned General Chiwenga’s past and his role during difficult periods in the nation’s history. Yet leadership can also involve transformation, reflection, and redemption. Over time, he has shown signs of political maturity, restraint, and an evolving statesmanlike approach that differs from the hardened image many once associated with him. Nations are rebuilt not through bitterness or rigid thinking, but by recognising when leaders evolve and become capable of carrying the aspirations of the people.
At the same time, the opposition remains fragmented and weakened by internal divisions, competing ambitions, and the failure to articulate a united national vision. Within that political vacuum, growing numbers of frustrated Zimbabweans are beginning to rally behind General Chiwenga as one of the few figures with the authority, experience, and national appeal to confront the country’s crisis directly.
Crucially, he is not viewed as standing alone. His wife has increasingly emerged as a calm, compassionate, and dignified presence beside him, resonating with many citizens as a maternal and unifying figure. At a time when Zimbabweans are yearning for empathy and servant leadership, she has projected humility, care, and solidarity with struggling communities. Together, they are seen by many supporters as representing a partnership grounded not merely in power, but in responsibility toward the people.
In contrast, many citizens have become disillusioned by what they perceive as an excessive focus on personal enrichment, patronage networks, and the accumulation of wealth among sections of the political elite, while millions continue to face poverty, unemployment, and hopelessness. Increasingly, concerns are also being raised about the concentration of power and fears of dynastic or family-centred political control.
Zimbabwe now stands at a historic crossroads. This moment is no longer simply about personalities or factional rivalries within the ruling party. It is about national survival rescuing the country from economic decline, corruption, fear, and growing international isolation. Many citizens believe the nation must unite behind a vision of restoration, discipline, justice, and patriotic leadership.

Their voices echoed with joy as they sang, “IMI NDIMI AMAI VENYIKA INO” in honour of Her Excellency Dr Auxilia Mnangagwa, celebrating her love and commitment to the people of Zimbabwe.
