If you're teaching online. Give your students space within class to just come together and chat. I set up a series of breakout rooms and gave them the instruction of "just be together" & offered the option to shift around groups. It's wonderful seeing them move around & engage

The mental load of being on Parental Leave - cooking, nappies, laundry, dropping off and collecting children, sleep deprivation - is way more taxing than my job which usually requires a doctorate as a starting point. Even with a well child and a partner also on leave.
