What's funny is...whoever put this together completely ignored everyone who was concerned about the ballooning number of "eligible" drivers in the "feature race" of exhibitions. Fans: "Make it exclusive again! 16-20 at most!" NASCAR: "Did you say all 36 chartered teams? OKAY!"

Anyone who gets a guaranteed All-Star feature spot shouldn't be on the track at the same time as those who weren't yet guaranteed. I tune into the All-Star to see Larson attempt to win $1 million, not to see him try to survive a non-points race that everyone runs. @NASCAR

@DirtyMoMedia If Dale, Jr. is posting this or had a sign-off on Social Media admin posting this, that's a *bad* look for NASCAR.

This "All-Star" is a joke...and I don't normally say that about anything @NASCAR does no matter how much I disagree.

Sorry to any #StarTrekOnline followers who are seeing a bunch of NASCAR stuff. Today's the All-Star, and while I normally watch with other people, I'm watching this solo. Frustrations are going to social media (tagging NASCAR so they see) rather than yelling at my screen.

This. You want to see your favorite @NASACAR driver "all day"? Go to a points-paying race. The All-Star *should* be exclusive to winners...including winning the segments of the Open and the fan vote.

@RichardAllenMSR If NASCAR's going to impose "no Red Flag work" and "no backup cars," let's just make this a proper race but without points. This format doesn't know what it wants to be at this point.

Note to @NASCAR: The All-Star race next year? Yeah...this year's version ain't it...at all. Format, rules, everything. 100% not a fan, will likely not watch next year if it's this on repeat.

@NASCAR Additionally, allow Red Flag repairs under this style of All-Star qualifying forrmat. My goodness, it's like @NASCAR did, "non-points race with extra steps," rather than a true All-Star race.

If @NASCAR wants to continue doing this version of an All-Star format, your locked-in drivers *need* to be able to go to back-up cars. It won't be a good look for fans of winners to leave early because you won't allow backups in a *non-points* race.

NASCAR: "Let's put *ALL* our drivers on track to qualify for the All-Star!" Lap 1.1 of 350 (?) total laps: *massive crash due to someone not being clear in the back end of the 20s, collecting 3 (?) otherwise locked-in drivers.* ...what are we even doing? @NASCAR

@champwebdotnet The odd thing is, I thought it was public knowledge within the last 5-10 years that they were trying not to mess up pit cycles if they could help it. Maybe you do that for debris that’s not directly in the racing line(s), but not for cars stopped and unmovable.

It is wild, i think for the first time in Indycar history, Race Control has admitted they were throwing "Subjective Yellows" based on information on who was leading and where the leader was at in an expected pit window! wow. All this time i was sort of being facetious about the topic, but it was real!
