Decided I fancied making pizza dough, baking it in a pizza oven, and folding it around pastrami, serrano ham, pepperoni, salami, chorizo, mozzarella, marinara sauce & mixed leaves. Then I thought, bollocks to that. Olive & Oregano do it better. Cardiff Market. Ground floor.

Finally got to eat one of Sage Deli's famed wraps - pulled pork & slaw was tasty & very good value at £5er. First time trying the duck Pierogi's too, which were delicious 👌🏽. Wish I got to the market more often

Checking out The Real Ting @CardiffMarket_ Enjoyed the fried chicken with pineapple sauce very much. Nods to @cleanplateblog who was also in the house.

Smak Burger. Opened today. Pork fillet, milk-marinated overnight then breaded, in a warm Polish bun. Loaded with coleslaw, tomato, red onion, lettuce. Choice of sauces- I went for dill. Impressively large, messy and satisfying, but enough about me. Take a seat, get stuck in.

Im excited for The Real Ting to set up in @CardiffMarket_ next month; their jerk chicken bowl at @cdffarmersmkts today was the perfect summer time feed.

Had a little preview of The Italian Pantry from @DirtyGnocchi today in @CardiffMarket_. Italian deli meats, cheeses, fresh filled pastas to take away, cannoli, and lots more. And, of course- *that* slow-cooked beef shin ragu, now available to take home. Opens tomorrow, 11am.

I've just seen that The Real Ting is to open up in @CardiffMarket_ in June which is a seriously top tier addition.
