Drive time to Bristol Airport this afternoon was nearly double the usual. (Was collecting folks who didn’t know Cardiff’s so much better!) Anyone know why the queue for the M49 was the entire length of 2nd Severn Bridge? Just lots of folks heading to southwest?

If I were a traffic cop with a speed gun on wide and very mainy Caerphilly Road near Heol Llanishen Fach (there’s one there now actually), I would definitely not do people if they’re doing under 25mph.

Nothing out of the ordinary was noted prior. What an unforgettable and awful day it was. RIP all those who passed.

@cardifflibdems Are you aware of bins being removed near to Llanishen Reservoir and not being replaced by new, more convenient (for Council staff, not users) bins despite official claims to the contrary?

@brian_damage @Enterprise Sorry, as I mentioned in my post, I believe it was an Enterprise employee checking on one of their rentals in the wild.

@ILovesTheDiff @Enterprise Probably an unfamiliar vehicle and didn't want to risk damaging it. I hired a car from them once. They made no checks when I picked it up, then tried to charge me for all the previous damage when I took it back. Luckily I'd taken photos of it!

Absolutely no reason for this @Enterprise employee to double park and block the traffic on Ninian Road when there’s a space nearby. After queuing to go round his van, I suggested he “park properly” but was told to f-off. Not very enterprising language.
