I'm incredibly proud to have organised the 2024 Welsh Sport & Exercise Medicine Conference with @CardiffSEMS. We had four fantastic keynote speakers @joperkinsphysio @HuwDRoberts @katyg_cooks @GeoffSportsdoc and 2 workshops @CJRugbyPhysio, with over 100 attendees.

Huw's current role is as Rehabilitation Performance Coach for the PGMOL assisting professional football officials for the Premier league, EFL and FA. We are looking forward to hearing Huw's talk on strength & conditioning and rehabilitation in international women's football.

These experiences have ranged from NHS work to working as lead physio for the international Welsh Women’s Football team. He has also worked in professional football at Swansea City FC as well as with jockeys for the BHA.

📢 Keynote Speaker Announcement 📢 Our final confirmed speaker for the Welsh Sport & Exercise Medicine Conference is Huw Roberts @HuwDRoberts Huw has nearly 20 years of experience as a physio, almost fifteen of which have been in the world of sport.

She also has her own online business 'The Glow Method at Home' which focuses on pre- and post-natal rehabilitation. Jo was also recently named one of Mastercard’s Future XV, a squad of sporting pioneers changing the face of rugby globally.
