It’s polling day!!! The weeks have come and gone and CUCUA has continued its hard work (rain or shine) across the country to ensure the election of conservatives candidates. A massive thanks to all our members who’ve helped campaign. Make sure you all vote on this vital day.

Another fantastic week for CUCUA. We’ve all been out across the country campaigning hard for local Conservative candidates who will deliver for the country. We have covered over half a dozen constituency’s, delivering thousands of leaflets and knocking hundreds of doors.

The £20m Barry Marina will be a fantastic new facility for the town. Plus it’ll attract other new investment and facilities to the area. Levelling Up in action 💪 Barry Waterfront residents spoke warmly of the leadership @AlunCairns has shown in making it happen this evening ☀️

3 weeks today the country will go to the polls and decide this country’s future. CUCUA has been out, working hard to ensure the re-election of local conservative MPs who will deliver for the country. If you would like to get involved, feel free to message.

Our Conservative Manifesto has a clear plan to: ✂️Cut your taxes. 🇬🇧Strengthen our Armed Forces. 🏡Make it easier to buy a home. 📚Improve education for all. 🔒Protect pensions from tax. No other party will take that bold action.

We will scrap, entirely, the main rate of self-employed National Insurance. A tax abolished, enterprise encouraged.

I’m backing our armed forces.

Our National Insurance tax cuts have put £900 in the pockets of the average worker. We’re going further. By 2027, we will have halved National Insurance to 6%. That will save an average worker on £35,000, more than £1,300.

When elections are called, it means the bulk of the weekend is spent knocking doors. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. The best way to stay in touch with our communities is to get out and speak to people. Top weekend supporting @AlunCairns in the Vale of Glamorgan 💪

Since the start of the election CUCUA has been out working hard out to keep the Value blue. We had delivered thousands of leaflets and knocked hundreds of door. Despite the end of uni, we will continue to campaign up until the general election.
