The goal still similar: to strip a people of their independence and right to self determination and sovereignty. By studying these tense moments of the Grenadian Revolution, we sharpen our own ability to combat destabilization campaigns

Our February community study circle session focused on “destabilization,” the concept and strategy, looking at the speeches by Maurice Bishop and the writings on the topic in the People’s Revolutionary Government (PRG) newspaper, Free West Indian.

So we say free President Nicolas Maduro and First Combatant Cilia Flores, stop the war on Venezuela, and STFU about “authoritarianism!” #nowaronvenezuela

The notion that the U.S., or any of its allies and supporters, is concerned about authoritarianism is absurd on its very face. This concern is merely imperialism in a cheap disguise.

The United States, capitalist media, and pro-U.S. interventionists continue to raise a false alarm about the supposed “authoritarian” nature of the Bolivarian Revolution and the Maduro-led government. However, we must always remember to “consider the source.”

‼️🚨🇺🇸🇻🇪: US President Donald Trump, at 4:21 am, has posted that the US has kidnapped Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. Outside of Trump’s post, there is no other confirmation:

Trump just denied reports that land strikes in Venezuela are imminent. It's clear that hawks in the Trump administration are using friendly papers to try and make war with Venezuela inevitable. But the fact remains: this is a deeply unpopular policy.

This month’s CELAC-EU Summit failed to produce a response to the ongoing U.S. terror strikes and extrajudicial killings in the Caribbean Sea and in the Pacific. However, the peoples of the Caribbean and Latin America are raising their collective voice in opposition. Social movements, unions and peoples from around the region gathered in Colombia's coastal city of Santa Marta at the same time that the CELAC-EU Heads of Government Summit was held. @camilapress heard from participants of the Cumbre Social de los Pueblos de América Latina y el Caribe (the People’s Social Summit of Latin America and the Caribbean). @AnderiHindu @OliverRivasP @ajamubaraka @DannaVargasP @esilvacuadra @ale_rusconi @diasporapalante @WorldBeyondWar
