UPDATE: Texas COP is Jailed and SENTENCED for Killing THREE! On June 20, 2024, Viveros (then 27) was responding to an armed robbery call at an ATM in Missouri City. He was driving his patrol SUV on Cartwright Road (a road with a 40 mph speed limit) at 107 mph—more than double the limit—without activating his emergency lights or sirens. He crashed into a 2005 Toyota Corolla driven by 16-year-old Mason Stewart, who had just turned 16 that day and was out celebrating with his mother, Angela Stewart (53), in the passenger seat. They were making a left turn when the collision occurred. Both died at the scene. A third victim, Michael Hawkins (53), was in the backseat of Viveros's patrol vehicle. He had been detained earlier on a separate call and was unrestrained/handcuffed there. He was seriously injured in the crash (including partial paralysis), not discovered for about two hours afterward, hospitalized, and died on January 10, 2025, from his injuries.

Boomers don't want to hear this, but one of the (many) reasons why my generation isn't having as many kids? A lot of millennials feel they can't depend on their parents for help the way they saw their own grandparents pitch in when they were growing up

Josh Duhamel questions actors who speak out on politics: "If you really want to be successful in this business, why would you make half of your audience despise you by your beliefs?" “I have real strong opinions about things but I don’t really talk about it because it’s like, ‘Why would I alienate half my audience?’ Because I respect their views on things but I’m not going to preach to them," Duhamel told Megyn Kelly. "If you really want to be successful in this business, why would you make half of your audience despise you by your beliefs? Maybe they don’t care. I don’t know. I mean, I look at it as a business decision, you know? I’m here just to make cool movies, cool TV. I’m here to make cool stuff. I’m the court jester, you know? If I want to preach to you about what I believe politically, I will go run for office, which I’m not [going to do].” variety.com/2026/film/news…

Of the non-Muslims, only the Jews have managed to defend themselves in the Middle East and stand their ground. Everybody else, especially the Christians, is on their way to extinction. Yet many in the West think that any Western thumb on the Mideast scales makes things worse or is unethical.
Dr. Maalouf ‏@realMaalouf

BREAKING: Thousands of Muslim jihadis are on their way to the Christian town of Al-Suqaylabiyah, Syria, following yesterday’s pogrom. They are hunting for Christian blood and want to commit a massacre. It’s crazy how little the world cares about Christians in the Middle East.

@RadioFreeTom Washington personally took up arms to stop a rebellion against the United States. Trump encouraged one. Nichols writes that sentence almost as an aside. It is the whole argument.

This is absolutely infuriating and completely idiotic. An estimated 95,000 scientists and researchers have left federal agencies since Trump returned to the White House. These are the people tracking hurricanes, studying pediatric cancer, and modeling the climate tipping points that determine whether we can still prevent catastrophe. We lost them because this administration defunded their work, shuttered their offices, and made clear that finding out the truth is no longer a government priority. NASA’s own administrator just said studying climate change isn’t part of NASA’s mission. The agency that first warned Congress about global warming in 1988 now treats that work as a distraction. Meanwhile, China and Europe are recruiting our scientists, funding their labs, and making long-term bets on the industries of the future while we gut the research infrastructure that took generations to build. We are surrendering global scientific leadership voluntarily, deliberately, and one resignation letter at a time. nytimes.com/2026/03/25/cli…

Jasmine, I understand your antisemitism, but each of the three cases you mentioned is different. Lebanon is at fault and in violation of half a dozen UNSC resolutions that demand disarming Hezbollah, making Israel totally on the right legal side of self-defense. Gaza is disputed with final resolution pending a negotiated agreement (per UNSC). Hamas launched a war. Israel razed Gaza in response. Iran is different too. Iran has sponsored all the proxies that attacked Israel. Now Israel is paying Iran back. Unlike Lebanon and Gaza, there is no border or history between Israel and Iran. Lumping them together to vilify Israel is a standard IRGC talking point known as “the coordinated [unified] battlefield.”
Jasmine El-Gamal@jasmineelgamal

So many of us warned that allowing Israel to decimate Gaza indiscriminately and with total impunity would set a dangerous precedent. Now we are seeing the same playbook in Lebanon and Iran. We will continue to see this until the Israeli government is held accountable.

This is gonna piss u off!! 😱🤯🤬🤬🤬 Note: These are rough numbers. Take-home pay varies by province, benefits, pensions, and deductions. Other expenses are also approximate figures. The point here isn't precision - it's direction. The Uncomfortable Reality: In Canada, you can earn $100K-$130K... and still end up with less money at the end of the month than someone making $35K. Harry went to school he took on OSAP Let that sink in. he took on student debt This isn't about attacking social programs. They exist for a reason. But at some point, you have to ask: What exactly are we incentivizing? Because right now, the people taking on more risk, working longer hours, and producing more value are not meaningfully ahead. In fact, they have even less money left over at the end of the month. And when effort stops translating into reward, people stop pushing. Top talent leaves. Ambition dies. Productivity drops. so Harry who's busting his balls and And then everyone wonders why the economy feels stagnant.
