think you are confusing protestants with something else. protestants dont believe pope is a thing. protestants believe Jesus is the only intercessor (which means we have no priests to talk on our half to God), and dont believe in your system of bishops either. So what is going on?

i understand his position, and that i find it to be wrong. I wouldnt say they have no understanding of scripture, its literally all they have so i dont find that ecumenically necessary to make an absurd claim. granted not all of them agree with each other but if you slap all their denominations into one, you still see a catholicity to it, given if you define protestants as trinitarians and only include the mainline denominations. although they claim the authority is the scriptures, their true authority is their ordinary means, their traditions made by men that interpret those scriptures. not all deny catholic traditions its more like some have a handful there and some there. like some having a good hand and the other an okay hand but none have the full deck.

Does this guy have saved sinner in his handle ? Even St. Paul wasn’t secure enough in his faith to say he was saved. We all work out our salvation in fear and trembling. Heads up the Bible says baptism saves that doesn’t mean you are once saved always saved. It means you will wear that mark on your soul in hell or heaven
