Against Purdue, too many losing plays and a costly offensive rebound. The next game? Fewer losing plays and more winning ones. That was the entire adjustment. Not narratives. Not results. Plays. Here’s what most people miss: the outside world lives in extremes. Inside great programs, everything stays boring. Stable. Grounded in the work. McCollum filters noise ruthlessly.
