About to step outside for a lunch-time stroll? Perhaps leave the kite flying for another day, but remember your waterproofs! It's 15°C in northeast Wales but further north it's 10 degrees Celsius colder! It's also very windy with a recent gust of 78mph in Capel Curig 🌬️⚠️

This handsome medieval Gothic church was almost converted into a house during the 1980s. Thankfully, we were able to step in and preserve this church for future generations with the help of local supporters. 1/9

A cloudy, damp and dull afternoon for parts of England, Wales and eastern Scotland as outbreaks of rain push northwards 🌧️ Sunnier for the rest of Scotland and Northern Ireland, but brighter breaks for western fringes of Wales and East Anglia and Kent too ⛅

@CaroPBF Thank you, always supportive and kind! I am thinking of darkening the surround of the un-stained stag, so it glows even more. Once the stain is done there is no going back!

@CaroPBF It is a hand made streaky, slightly mauve-ish glass by English Antique Glass Ltd Caroline. The only paint added is the crew, the boat details and splashes of white enamel for the wash of the waves …
