@squints_winked @CharlieK_news Discernment...consequences. There is an awful lot of "news" that goes unreported because it lacks the P/C narrative of the news controllers. Like I said, if that was my kid, all of them would be on my list to go after.

President Trump just dropped a MAJOR accusation, saying a leaker effectively AIDED AND ABETTED Iran by feeding the fake news details about the hunt for a missing American airman behind enemy lines Trump says that leak instantly blew the operation wide open, alerted the entire country of Iran that a U.S. pilot was on the ground fighting for his life, and put not only that airman — but HUNDREDS of Americans involved in the mission — in even greater danger And it got worse. According to Trump, once that information got out, Iran moved fast and even put a BOUNTY on an American troop PRISON. Trump made it clear he wants the leaker found, and he says the media outlet that ran the story will face a choice: hand over the source in the name of national security — or face JAIL TIME “The person that did the story WILL GO TO JAIL if he doesn’t say!” Trump said the U.S. stayed quiet at first to protect the operation, but then someone leaked that there was a missing American, giving Iran information it did not have before He says that one leak may have changed everything Now the administration is hunting for whoever did it — and Trump says they are prepared to go straight to the media company and demand the name LOCK THE LEAKER UP.

@squints_winked @CharlieK_news Journalists should act with more integrity, and not place targets on the backs of our service members lost in enemy territory. If that was my child lost in Iran, I'd threaten the leaking journalist myself. Doing the right thing goes both ways.

@CarolJMadden @CharlieK_news You can do the right thing the wrong way, Carol. Freedom isn’t free but it also doesn’t allow you to do whatever you want. Find the leaker internally. You don’t need to threaten journalists.

@CharlieK_news I don’t think he understands the whole “freedom of the press” thing. Once again this will go to the supreme court and be ruled against. You don’t get to just make up your own rules, even when it is for a good cause.

There is an ongoing criminal trial in this case and the individual in this case is a US citizen entitled to due process. Your relentless bloviating and absurd public commentary on an ongoing, very serious, criminal matter, which you know little to nothing about (by choice), is beneath the office you hold. It’s bizarre that you continue to claim to be a supporter of liberty and the Constitution, while acting like a Soviet era communist.

@RepTeresaLF That is a lie. A Real ID is enough to vote. In order to REGISTER to vote you could use a Real ID AND your certified birth certificate, which most people have. It wouldn't be hard. And YES, it suppresses people voting who do not have the legal right to do so.

The ID I can use to fly wouldn’t be enough to vote. The SAVE Act is not a voter ID law, it’s voter suppression.
