@edyson @startuphealth @LNImpactForum @WayToWellville @point11222 Health is a ‘quest’, it is pursued. It never just happens. Ideally, the pursuit of health (similar to pursuing education), is modeled as a role that people take up throughout their lives. The problem is that we don’t appreciate it as a ‘role’ (with all that roles entail).

How does health - not healthCARE - really happen? @startuphealth Greetings from @LNImpactForum - an enjoyable conversation about @WayToWellville and other health topics with Roger Jansen

Stop with the lengthy break in coverage! Enough already. @KXAN_Weather

Agreed. These ideas are too helix’d. and they are not the same. But it affects everything, from the kinds of Qs we ask, the solutions we pursue, and who / how we expect to be involved in creating them.

...and in healthcare we're confusing healthcare delivery with health!

@notthefakeSVP A sad day, indeed. I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s clear he was deeply loved.

@tom_peters If experience had led you to the opposite conclusion about leaders, would you have published it?

Now, *that’s* great human-centered design! Public libraries across the U.S. are taking note of this Richmond branch’s parent-and-child-friendly design - The Washington Post apple.news/AnSLsrxWARKOkS…

@CarolMcCall @AskAManager @bulldawg_170 Absolutely but the local judge is not ruling on blame and just the harm part
English

This is seriously f'd up: at-will workers quit their jobs for higher pay, old employer asks court to block them from starting said new jobs until they can re-hire, judge grants injunction preventing them from starting their new jobs. AT-WILL WORKERS.

@snarkyRedhd @AskAManager @bulldawg_170 Even if the CEO’s ‘do no harm’ argument has merit, their actions show they’re either lying or a bad leader. Real ‘do no harm’ actions would include phased transition schedules, stick around bonuses, etc. Nope.
English

@AskAManager @bulldawg_170 .my boss’s boss at the hospital I work at says he doesn’t know how many patients would have to be transferred or how many people would be turned away if this unit stopped operating here but it would be a huge disruption that could harm and kill many
It’s a creepy solution tho

Important topic and informative thread. Thank you, Senator.

Corporations are not people. Citizens United was a disastrous decision that's allowed dark money to corrode our politics to this day. It's time to pass my constitutional amendment to #EndCitizensUnited and finally bring transparency to our elections.
