The US Supreme Court still hasn’t ruled on President Trump’s tariffs. The ruling could come as soon as this week. During his Oval Office presser yesterday, President Trump slammed those who brought the lawsuits against his tariffs, calling them “anti-American”and “pro China”. While @POTUS didn’t explicitly say his name, President Trump is likely referring to Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society. Last May, as I previously reported, President Trump blasted Leonard Leo as a “sleazebag” and as someone “who probably hates America” because it has been widely reported that Leo and his aligned groups have been funding the lawsuits against President Trump’s tariffs. No matter how the ruling turns out, Leonard Leo should never be allowed to advise on picking judges and SCOTUS nominees ever again. Obviously, he isn’t very good at picking winners.
