William Jasper, who famously climbed the parapet of Fort Moultrie to reattach the his companies flag was later killed in action during the siege of Savannah in 1779. This monument was erected in the late 19th century to his memory. Jasper’s gravesite is unknown but he is buried somewhere near Savannah. This flag with the addition of a palmetto tree became the state flag of South Carolina, one of the most recognizable state flags in the United States.

To the Orthobros in our thing, I don’t follow your calendar but I assume you’re not allowed to eat anything between two slices of bread during Lent.
