So exciting to see the buzz of auditions and young musicians joining the State Honours Ensemble Program at @QldCon_Griffith at @Griffith_Uni - a fabulous program bringing together people from across Qld to share their passion for making music.

Such a treat to attend the opening night of @qldballet performance of Manon with guest appearance of Mary Li. It is a masterpiece with over 75 dancers, 1500 costume pieces, 40 wigs & 50 hair pieces! A truly magnificent performance.

Filmharmonic brings together the talents of the ⁦@QldCon_Griffith⁩ orchestra and the ⁦@GriffithFilm⁩ to create an amazing night of music and film. This year it featured a major piece by alumnus and composer Tim Davies who came back to help prepare the students.

In amazing news, @GriffithFilm student Lachlan Pendragon has won a student Academy Award and will fly to LA to receive his award. This is huge - past winners include Spike Lee, Patricia Cardoso and Robert Zemeckis. Congratulations Lachlan - we are very proud of you.

The Qld government today launched their employment strategy - Good People Good Jobs. I am looking forward to representing Qld universities on the Industry Roundtable to be chaired by ⁦@DiFarmerMP⁩ who has done a stellar job on consultation.

It’s been nearly three years since we last had an alumni event in Singapore and everyone was keen to make up for lost time. Brilliant to see so many people who were keen to share their memories of Griffith and to reconnect with their peers and teachers.
