There is a scandal brewing in Solana-land, having to do with MEV, and all the ways users are currently being ripped off. To be clear: this can be true even if most of the main players all have good intent. And I make this claim without any firsthand knowledge, except that a relatively young but complexly architected chain is experiencing a surge of activity by unsophisticated users. This inevitably leads to sophisticated players exploiting unique design elements to do things that I'm confident many Solana fans would agree should not be done. This is the path of growth for every successful chain. Now the community must enter the dark forrest and try to address the issue. But there are no easy fixes, just painful tradeoffs.

since sushi abandoned kashi 1.5 years ago, the bad debt on it has been growing due to interest left alone, this has grown from 600k to 100M now

@PrimordialAA Probably -80% deweight for valueless (under $1) should have not been applied for super early tnxs. Making test transactions on a newly launched protocols is a common sense, which makes it a common practice :)

A couple things. Final model - 25 min, 5k max core 5 min, 10k max RFP x3 for all early tx, +10 ZRO for late, -80% deweight for valueless Sybil hunters -- wanted to include you in the checker portal today but tagging FCFS earliest for all hunters is quite the task -- it will happen over the next week or so and make sure everyone gets their allocations. I will write up a much much longer post on the hunt, the impact, how much was put back into real users hands. Almost 10M tokens that would have gone to sybil back to users.

@PrimordialAA "Durable" could be a subjective term. If users use the protocol only when they REALLY need, there may be periods (months) when users are not making any transactions...

Should early users who stopped transacting long ago still receive multiplier? Some examples of high allo accounts who have not transacted in many years. People have suggested you should only get it if early AND durable (have remained active).
