I had a dream I was in a magic school of sorts and everytime you left a room you entered a sub dimensional space with 3 doors and one door led to the place you wanted to go while the rest led back to the starting point or far off your destination. So I memorized which door 1)

“Reading the card explains the card” except in Riftbound where you need to follow various dev twitter accounts, regularly check for errata in their rules hub, and wait for FAQs to explain how things work because the wording and rules don’t support what the card actually says

Ramp is my 2nd favorite archetype. Most decks I've played in Union Arena are ramp decks Aurora is not how you design a ramp deck Volibear was one of the first decks I was trying to play and looking forward to playing before Origins released. That deck was a lot of fun and had a surprising amount of sauce at the time (as long as you didn't play against viktor) Aurora has ruined ramp as an archetype. Its existence will continue to place design constraints on anything related to ramp as long as it's in the format. It has turned what could be a fun and interesting deck type into boring go fish. It will either have to be powercrept out of the format by another ramp archetype that revolves around ramping by playing smaller and mid-sized units so that playing Aurora will not be an option or at least not be the primary focus, or it will have to be nerfed in some way (I would like to see catalyst and mobilize banned) Ramp can be enjoyable and interesting, even when top tier or the best deck, but Aurora isn't how you achieve that
AliEldrazi@AliEldrazi

@CTCGVillionaire @Challengertcg Nah, justify it. People just don’t like it when any ramp deck is tier 1 in any TCG.

“He delivered! If there’s alot of whispers, you know how you shut that up? You do what he did in this series…he’s going to be impossible to guard…he will be All-NBA ” -Vince Carter (@mrvincecarter15) “He’s the cornerstone, I’ve seen growth…game 5/7 is who he is & should be…put a list of players in front of Paolo, pick who you want to play with… become the Lebron James of the Orlando Magic” - Tracy McGrady (@Tmac_213) “I’ve been through this…I’m expecting Paolo to come into next season more refined & focus…Orlando don’t mess this up” - Carmelo Anthony (@carmeloanthony)
Chris Janssen@ChrisJanssen

I just listened to Tracy McGrady, Carmelo Anthony, and Vince Carter lavish Paolo with more praise than I’ve heard from anyone, maybe ever… If these legends are talking like this, completely disregard the twitter spreadsheet analysts (prob doing that already anyway). Nobody on this app has more credibility talking about Paolo’s game than Tmac, VC, and Melo, nobody.

2-0-1 at the pre rift, nice that I played well to beat opponents who had much better rares than me. Felt like a good limited format.

Orlando is the most talented bad team I’ve seen in years. They run almost nothing. They hunt for a matchup and then wait and there is nothing else after the first switch. They take terrible shots. Absolutely brutal shot selection from all of them. They make so many mistakes, you wonder how they ever win. Up 3-1 on the #1 Seed…

I miss old lineup construction: 1. Fastest player 2. Bat control guy (he sucks) 3. Best all-around hitter 4. Best power hitter 5. Lumbering power or bust hitter 6. High-OBP guy who leads off now 7. Bad switch hitter 8. Catcher 9. Gold Glove defender (-5 DRS, can't hit)

@minnieportable Trying to be optimistic but it’s hard to see Darby as a believable heavyweight champion. The match is going to be awesome though

9/10 times BF 1 – Vilmaw’s Lair * Won Round 1? → Forge → Side deck First Mate and Brutalizer in for good Turn 1 plays. After Round 2 Brutalizer out again * Lost Round 1? → Ravenbloom, get all gear out, to bait gear removal (only Zhonya’s stays). Round 3: bring all gear back in with Forge Akshan vs Gear The rest depends on each Legend

If you haven't watched this video by @masoneclark youtube.com/watch?v=Ym94QG… You should. One thing that it really shows is how mindset impacts play. Where your head is at lets you see the game either more or less clearly

4) Spyro is great in game ones, while fable is waaay better in postboard games where you plan to hit with ragavan T1, and you must not discard your interactions 5) 2nd surgical is nice, but probably is better to have something to answer stuff (purge/destroy evil) 6) Blood Moon is good against tier 2-3 decks, while it’s dog water in mirror/vs decent jeskai players, affinity and it’s even worse against amulet since it’s often the only layer of interaction they care about. I don’t like such polar cards, but i’d likely play one in a paper RCQ/open decklist event, where people play their pet deck which is frog/BW midrange/5C creativity

A lot of Qs: 1) 3rd fable should be a Roku. I don’t like the card, but it’s ok to draw it in some midgames 2) Ranger in the sb is nice to switch 3-drops and still have a good curve. You like interactions vs combo 3) Voice is good, mostly boros doesn’t work without 2drops (more)
PieGonti@PiemontiAndrea

The more I play, the more I think this is the right list to play right now. A couple slots in the sideboard are debatable, but it's built to minimize nongames and have perfect ins/outs in the most played matchups.

I would like a season of Pioneer. I am sure the format needs help but if you announce it now I would love to see really cool decks since the influx of these powerful standard cards I also don't like letting formats die because modern players rule the world.
