@marcportermagee But all those jobs above the 0 line were barely earning above poverty wages so who cares. The others who were crushing it getting a 5% drop are still making way more than those non earning degrees. Don’t get a degree in a bad field to begin with.

It's here: the Garry's List Action Voter Guide: garrysguide.org/elections We pulled together endorsements from the organizations already doing the work — housing groups, labor, civic reformers, the people with skin in the game — and put them in one place. Transparent. Sourced. Searchable. We’re not telling you what to think. We’re showing you what the serious people have already decided.

30 years? Maybe our kids can ride the west San Francisco subway. youtube.com/shorts/eScBtd1… a project like this could be done in 3 years if our society were run by engineers not lawyers

The monster who hurled a rock at Lani, the endangered monk seal in Maui, is 37-year-old Igor Lytvynchuk from Seattle. After being confronted the sicko replied: “I don't care, I'm rich, fine me. I can pay for it.” He has since been detained, but has yet to be charged as the case was referred to federal investigators. He must be held accountable. Anyone who would assault and harm an endangered animal like Lani is a danger to the entire planet and belongs behind bars. And for all those wondering, Lani is ok! A marine biologist went to check on her and she is going to make a full recovery.

Asians have an abundance of skills, but a scarcity of courage. Since moving back to Asia after living in the US, I've noticed that most people pick safe career paths, like corporate jobs or family business. This is driven by our culture of "saving face." There's an expectation to project an image of success, especially if your parents sent you abroad for school. As a result, young people rarely take risks. They don't start companies or pursue strange interests, because no one wants to fail in a gossipy Asian society. Ironically, Asian parents pay $500k to send their kids to American universities to be free-thinkers and entrepreneurs, only to pull them home and demand they conform.
