Men complain modern women have unrealistic standards. But in my experience? Men are worse. The guy who's 40lbs overweight, hasn't even sniffed a promotion in 3 years and watches porn daily still thinks he deserves a 25-year-old who cooks, keeps fit and wants 3 kids. There's having standards... And then there's this. There's a reason the prom queen ends up with the quarterback. The best men get the best women. Always have. Always will. So if you're not attracting the women you want? Stop blaming them. You're probably just not as valuable as you think you are. Make that your mission, instead.

My wife didn't ask me to get her chocolate. I was heading to the gas station and she asked if I was stopping by the chocolatier next door. I wasn't. But I understood the assignment. So I stopped. Bought her favourite truffles. Came home with a surprise. She lit up.

@UmbraCallistis Isnt that what art is about, doing, learning improving, and always push yourself to get better. Its probably the inner critic that told u so, but ive read that even artist that are doing art for several years are in the same boat still. So heads up and continue. You doing great

Kinda wild how your own mind can cripple your progress. I could post art multiple times a day, but it wouldn’t look as good as I want. Even my worst would be liked, but I still push myself to the limit because brain tells me to (?) Idk, kinda why my Patreon is not up yet.

it always boggled me how everyone tries to steer you away from doing what you enjoy, so you can draw just like everyone else well that's boring

things ppl told me: anime isn't real art all you draw is bust portrait you can't draw same face over and over you have to draw background your proportion is unrealistic you aren't coloring properly... etc i did all of that and im doing fine world owes you nothing

@ThinkInPeach That happens when u think shes "the one", there isnt only one woman that would fit into your life. There are many but u need to find them. I was there too, some overcome it some dont.

I caught my buddy checking his exes Instagram last year. They'd been broken up 2 years. "Just seeing what she's up to," he said before hastily stuffing his phone in his pocket. I just looked at him. I thought to myself. Does he miss her, or just the idea of her? What he was really missing was the future he built in his head with her. The stability, family, yearly vacations to Cancun. She'd moved on. The future he's grieving only ever existed in his head. It was never about her. It's never about her.
