@CartwrightLiam @_F_B_G_ Which was a moral error and will be seen by such by history. You cannot change biblical teaching by a majority vote even though I know your ilk thinks they know better than the Apostles.

Prayers for Justin Welby and his family as he has asked and as I am sure he needs. Prayers too, continuing, for abuse victims, for structural and not just cosmetic change, for a healthier culture and for healing. And alongside prayer, work to try and make that happen.

@_F_B_G_ Prayers, too, for the church which may be about to get a female "Archbishop of Canterbury" which would split the church and cause so many of us to leave.

We were once told the Bible is very clear, slavery is legitimate, leadership is male, divorce equals exclusion, the earth is only 6,000 years old etc. Now those immature & abusive readings of the Bible’s texts have been dumped. So why do some still use it to exclude LGBT+ people?
