This week each grade level met with Mrs. Goodson for “Data Dives with the Principal.” We set SMART goals for reading, math, and also science in fifth grade. Teachers will frequently meet with students individually to check on their progress towards their goals! #EaglePride💚💛

We are so excited about our new program with GHS Interact Club! GHS students and Carver Heights students will be doing a Pen Pal project that will encourage your students to read and write about the book they are reading. The first book is " The One and Only Ivan!" 💚💛💙💛

Our Seymour Studies students had a blast yesterday! Who says learning has to be boring? Students worked in small groups with airmen from SJAFB on reading and math and then took part in a whole group activity. We are so thankful for our partnership with SJAFB!#EagleFam💚💛💚💛

The Housing Authority of the City of Goldsboro (HACG) presented our school with a $5,000 donation! This donation will support educational enhancement.Thank you HACG for investing in our students! We love our community! We know they love us too! #EagleFam

Thanks to a $3,000 grant from the Rotary Club, our Communities Supporting Schools Success Coaches were able to purchase books, maps and technology to support student learning! We are so excited about our diverse collection of books and materials! We love our community! #EagleFam

Some of our Seymour Johnson AFB volunteers greeted students as they returned to school for 2021-2022! We are so thankful for our community partnerships. We love our community and we know they love us! We look forward to a great year! #EagleFamily 💚💛💚💛💚

Our garden began as a PBL activity for our students, through a $500 grant from the United Way to purchase instructional materials, supplies and plants. It grew to a much larger community collaboration led by Communities Supporting Schools! We love our community!💛💚💛💚

The CHE Eagles were soaring through the neighborhood delivering Teacher Appreciation gifts to all of our staff members doorsteps. We do love our Eagle family!! Thank you for all you do to make our school great!!

Remote learning hasn't stopped our recognition of Soaring Eagles! These students are some of the many that were recognized this week for excelling during remote learning. We are so proud of you all! #eagleterritory
