Words don't exist that can describe how much I love this 1908 photo of the Simmons College (now Hardin Simmons University) football team in Abilene, Texas. Everything from the hairstyles to the uniforms to the dapper clothing worn by coaches ... too much. And I can't fail to mention the awesome hats. I have a derby/bowler like those but I never wear it. It takes work but peace is so worth it. The same way we train muscles at the gym we can train our minds to be calm, focus on blessings & stay in control. My wife said to me a while back I haven’t seen you lose your cool or get angry in years, thank you! It’s taken work.

I genuinely think this is how WE CHANGE THE WORLD. I view every interaction as an opportunity to PREACH THE GOSPEL without preaching. It’s EASY to complain. It’s EASY to feel like a victim. When we take the EASY road we give our power away though.
