We've been working to conserve highly-threatened Kordofan giraffes in Cameroon since 2017. This study from @BristolUni highlights the critical importance of conservation work in the wild. #SavingWildlifeTogether

Without intervention, the poaching of two Critically Endangered Kordofan giraffes per year could result in local extinction in just 15 years. Our @Bristol_Vets partnered with @BrisZooSociety to understand the threat these incredible animals are facing.🦒 👉fal.cn/3AsLg

Some eye-opening results from our population modelling of Kordofan giraffe in Cameroon's Bénoué National Park. It really highlights the urgency and importance of conservation work within one of the few areas that this subspecies still roams @BrisZooSociety

It is a shame to see some in farming denying its climate impacts & pointing the finger elsewhere Emissions from farming + the food system as a whole are huge But, this is not to blame farmers. We have to work together to change how we feed ourselves interactive.carbonbrief.org/what-is-the-cl…

Where's the beef? It is where tropical forests used to be. 41% of tropical deforestation is driven by pasture expansion for beef (Our World in Data). Please eat more legumes for protein and "give peas a chance".

A lot of people think that plant-based milks are bad for the environment (e.g. use a lot of water). They certainly aren’t perfect. But no matter how you look at the data they are way better than dairy milk.
