@TheSquareMile @SpotifyStatus These comments are comedy, I am mad but not THIS mad god... A lot of Karens down here
English

@SpotifyStatus Actually, the comments here are quite amusing, so feel free to stay offline a little longer.
English

@GamingwithJDYT @SpotifyStatus unfortunately downloaded also don't work for me, also... DAMN man you got me beat, here I was proud of 4.5k songs. Gotta up my game...
English

@SpotifyStatus currently listening to music while writing this lmao this is why we plan stuff lads
English

@starrrgirl0 @SpotifyStatus Apple Music is exclusive to... eh, Apple, so besides Android users everywhere in Europe and people like me who use a PC, Apple Music has trash discoverability. We all bully my friend who uses it, and he admits that he deserves it for paying a full year for it.
English

@openinboxio @SpotifyStatus You're gonna be paying that interest for longer than any college debt.
English

@PKHeights @SpotifyStatus Yeah, but I pay a premium to have the downloaded songs on Spotify because signal is spotty on my 45min bus, now something downloaded suddenly doesn't work because of something like this. It's not the end of the world, I know by tomorrow it's gonna be fixed, but it's not a first.
English

@CassianWIT @SpotifyStatus Eh , I have downloaded playlist for when I don't have service. It's a convienence.

@PKHeights @SpotifyStatus When you put all your music in one place and suddenly it's saying "something went wrong playing this track! try to play something you downloaded" on a track that IS downloaded it's a problem. Makes me think I need to start a off-spotify playlist now.
English

@SpotifyStatus Why are people so extra lol Spotify never gives me an issue. This one time and people are attacking the company. People are sick in the head. Stop the victim mentality, I'll patiently wait for it to work.

I saw that clip, in reality vpns don't do anything. It's not Netflix region lock stuff we're talking here, the site is open all over the world, as an example even if veeery small number of people, there's Americans that have double citizenship with a eu country that live in USA and can sign.
Like someone that has a parent that is Italian/Spanish/French ecc, they have the right to sign with that foreign document. The fake signatures only are for people that made a mistake in typing, name or id number or that are intentionally spoofing/trolling/botting.
English

@accursedfarms I've seen people on Asmon's chat talking about using VPN to sign. There were significant gains at night (+10-25k) when most of EU sleeps. Let's assume we're far from being safe yet
English

The EU initiative has crossed 1.25 million signatures! I think 250k is the current record for invalid signatures thrown out on other initiatives, so we MIGHT be safe, but I could see us breaking that record also. The more margin we get, the better!

@rodrigolj @accursedfarms He already did on his latest video, and he never endorsed it in the first place.
English

@accursedfarms Will there be any calls from your end for SKG supporters to stop harassing PirateSoftware, given he was swatted Tuesday by SKG supporters?
English

I mean there's people like me that just left a negative review recently because this whole skg thing reminded me of it being in my library. I KNOW technically thor releases updates regularly, but... not in practice. Yeah the game is a lot different since i last played it sure, but not in substance, it's more polished, but with no end in sight for an actual 1.0 release.
It is more "shadery", sprites are cooler, the whatever "colour blindness" thing I heard him point out in a short. But as a GAME, it's 2025, early acces since end of 2018, there's been some story progress but atm it's not worth the praise, I lost faith in this, especially when I see his focus elsewhere. I dislike games that are in "early access" for 6+years with no end in sight.
There's exceptions, like Satisfactory, Terraria, Subnautica somewhat ecc ecc... but during their early acces they where feature HEAVY, something I don't see in heartbound.
English

@joaoppp13 @slicedcatnip @PirateSoftware @offbrand_games Heartbound page is a whole different situation which you arent seeing. People complaining about how long it is taking for him to even develop that game. Are there some review bomb related SKG? Yes, but most of negative reviews are surrounding the game

English

I am no longer working at @offbrand_games. People were attacking all of the games we were publishing and trying to mass review bomb them. You can dislike the things I say but this kind of behavior is unhinged.
Learned a lot there, accomplished a lot, hope they succeed regardless. Love those dudes and loved working with them. Hope they keep cooking.
English

@OrdinaryGamers Has been talking about issues like this for a long time, most especially game like GTA5 that, I didn't know, actually became more shit with time because they had to remove a lot of music from the game with the passing of years, reason why he playing the 1.0-ish version of it with all the original music.
English

@NilBrotto @PirateSoftware @offbrand_games Yeah, over expired music licenses of all things. If anything needs preserving, it's Spec Ops.
English

The "we truly live in a society" take. Man not gonna attack you or anything, but this platform is kinda like that and will remain that way, the best thing both us can do about it is using twitter as little as possible and quite literally touch grass.
Trust me man, this is not a war wroth fighting, you'll only remain miserable trying to dissect "society" on twitter.
English

Honestly it's been concerning to see this change in society over recent years.
There are WAY too many chronically online people these days who lack the ability to disconnect from online drama/politics and try to bring that shit into real life, affecting the lives of those who aren't even involved.
Social media is degrading our society, and it doesn't help that there are now things like Twitter Blue to further incentivize rage baiting, spreading misinformation and hate farming.
Sorry you and those at @offbrand_games have to deal with that crap. Hopefully one day we can go back to being able to discuss differing opinions without the raising of pitchforks.
English

I understand that, but there have been many examples in the past where dev/CEO talk outside the actual game but still in the sphere of gaming caused such backlash. "Gamers should feel more comfortable now owning their games" ecc ecc... Higher ups of the game in question making bad pr and the game suffering because of it. I don't think it's too fair... But the game is under his name for the vast majority, so him getting repercussions for it seems self inflicted, not a "passerby victim" like other off brand games.
English

@CassianWIT @slicedcatnip @PirateSoftware @offbrand_games Yeah but he uses "We were publishing" so it extends to his own games, no ?
Also, if you post a comment about a game that you disliked or reviewed as such, it isn't wrong, it's feedback, but it stops being feedback when stuff that isn't related to the game starts to show up.
English

That is his own game man. Idk if now technically is under Off brand games but it always was Thor's dev studios own game. As Thor is the head of it he is also the pr of it. If he says something that makes gamers mad, and the gamers that purchased said game retaliate with a bad review, I don't personally see how they are in the wrong.
English

@joaoppp13 @dewkuwu @PirateSoftware @offbrand_games I did leave a bad review recently, but it was for the very valid reason that it was abandoned in favour of Thor's streaming career. The game is stuck in early access development hell and any negative review that references that in the recent reviews is justified.
English

@PirateSoftware @offbrand_games Sad about it, I hope those games succeed, my steam library is never gonna stop growing and any indie game with some merit is welcome. Anybody who attacked the off brand games for the Thor-SKG issue should be ashamed and they are most likely stupid kids.
English

For those trying to say this is now somehow a lie.
The abuse was across socials, people on discord, twitter, reddit, and some reviews on steam. Indie Games are fragile things and attacks like that hit hard. Overall sentiment was to bash the games and the developers working on them to try to get back at me.
Not worth bringing them down for my opinion.
Also, stop it, get some help.
English

I personally left a bad review recently for heartbound specifically not because of the drama, but because I lost faith Thor is gonna continue developing it. Been stuck with no updates for years, and seeing the lead dev streaming 12h a day doesn't give me confidence, especially when a big part of his early career was talking about it, use it as an example for good indie development ecc ecc... I have no qualms with his success now, it's a better life, but as someone who bought the game I lose respect for it being abandoned in early access hell when he has the resources to continue it.
English

Read the initiative and make the decision for yourself? It's not like the ones behind it said to go after offbrand and review bomb. You can't say "I am not gonna take you seriously" because of people that take any reason to troll and burn things up with malicious intent. I do not blame any streamer or youtuber for what a small few of their viewers decide to do with their life ruining others, because unless they specifically endorse it, it's not on them. Any big group of people are gonna have imps looking to burn everything to the ground no matter what that movement is about.
