Good stuff Troy. But I don’t pin this on CB. At least he took ownership. At least he acknowledged his and the team’s shortcomings. For me it’s the notion that a hard foul is somehow verboten. The hard foul is suddenly a medieval relic frowned upon by the “enlightened”. Screw that. A hard foul was not only encouraged, it was necessary. And the fact it never came in game three is when and why that series was lost. No one can ever convince me otherwise.
Why are five black jerseys around Jokic in that scrum and only THJ is in the frame from the Nuggets?? That’s a microcosm of the softness that’s played out all series.
Honestly wish the Nuggets and Wolves could start this over with healthy rosters on both sides. All these calves, hamstrings, knees, achilles....just ridiculous. Wanted to see two healthy teams go at it. This has turned into a war of attrition.
Had a bad feeling heading into this one, as those that have listened to the shows will know.
Everyone kinda assumed that Denver would just do the thing they always do and win a critical Game 4 when the going got tough.
That is not what's going to happen.
#NuggetsNation has never been a fan of Kendrick Perkins, feeling like he swayed MVP vote for Joel Embiid a few years ago. Today he criticized Jokic’s defense on First Take, piggybacking on what Jaden McDaniels said.
Fair? Out of bounds? Over reaction? Thoughts?
