@Castles3D @Cam_Jourdan @CGolfBook Yeah, that’s not the rule for the postseason. That’s a regular season guideline. The rule for the postseason is you have to have a 50% winning percentage.

South Carolina did not make NCAAs due to being below .500, but four Gamecocks are heading to Regionals However, two players are going to the Simpsonville Regional and two others are going to Tallahassee. Interesting.

@GolfweekRingler @Cam_Jourdan @CGolfBook Rule in women’s golf that that if you bring 4 individuals that you must then play (count) as a team. I believe this rule is in place to discourage bringing an extra 4 Indy’s to an event and trying to play unattached. So by rule they needed to split them up or not allow them togo.

The awesome people of Twitter and how much their generosity means: After last years ice storm, @jplocic sent me an @aipowercorp portable inverter generator. My mom lives back in the woods, over a mile from the nearest neighbor. 15 miles from town. So we gave it to her. It gave me and my siblings peace of mind knowing that in case another ice storm happened she had a way to power her phone, heater, fridge, etc. Well a couple days ago, another ice storm hit and the entire area is out of power again. It will be days till some get it back. Us included Last year we had to go in the middle of the storm and cut our way back to mom to get her out. Don’t suggest chainsawing in an ice storm, while dodging falling trees, it’s not that fun This year we waited knowing she had power. People with older parents know that peace of mind like that is priceless. She started it right up with the remote start. We picked her up yesterday and moved her into our house yesterday, brought the generator with us. It’s currently -10 with the windchill and I’m typing this with 3 space heaters going and my phone charging. My mom’s hearing aids, vital to her quality of life, (and our sanity) charged over night. My wife is making coffee, Jack and Annie watching their tablets. The storm sucks, not having power for days sucks, but i cannot tell you the difference of our mental health compared to last time, mainly because of the things i just mentioned. So to John and his team, we can’t thank you enough for a gift that’s value can’t be measured. This isn’t an ad, but if you need a portable supports companies like this.

I have every Clemson game saved on my calendar. No, I’m not a Clemson fan, and I’ve never even been to South Carolina. But my neighbor, an elderly veteran paratrooper and Clemson alum who lives three doors down, is. He struggles a bit with YouTube TV, so I check on him every Saturday. Sometimes I stay, and we watch the game together, often with one or both of my boys. He treats me like a hero every time I help him. But as I walk past his office on my way out and see the wall covered in medals, gear, and awards, I’m reminded that I’m the one blessed by his heroics.

@GDunc6371 @GolfweekRingler The points that a team gets for each event can change every week depending on how other teams play. It’s a moving target at all times and can be volatile until more tournaments are played.

@GolfweekRingler The new rankings system is crazy…..been trying to figure them out for 2 years. This week…D3 has 2 teams that both didn’t play since last rankings. The lower ranked team jumped the higher ranked team. How and Why? No one knows….lol

I believe there is an official name for the college golf rankings, but I’ve see different names for the same ranking. At this point I think some folks are just making up a name. Creating a word salad for the rankings.

Pretty awesome part of caddying on LPGA. Caddies are allowed in player dining. (Not allowed on KFT or PGA) this morning there are made to order omelettes, tons of other stuff, any fresh fruit you want.
