The craziest thing about all this blue check nonsense is that the Republican Party is still waging a war on women. They’re still going after people of color & the LGBTQ+ community. They’re still banning books and drag. Still rolling back child labor laws. They’re still whitewashing history. They’re still refusing to do anything about assault rifles, still trying to cut food assistance for the neediest among us, still trying to cut healthcare for our veterans, still trying to insert religion into public education and they’re still using our kids as political props & pawns. They’re counting on us losing focus. But we cannot. And we will not. The end.

The shooter at Old National Bank in Louisville wanted to show how easy it was to buy a gun despite having a serious mental illness. He was legally able to buy an AR-15 and killed 5 people. The shooter at Covenant Christian school in Nashville was under a doctor's care for an undisclosed emotional disorder and their parents had previously voiced concerns about their child owning firearms due to her condition. They were legally able to buy 7 guns, including an AR-15 and killed 3 children and 3 adults. Neither of those states have red flag laws, despite overwhelming public support for them. Republicans blame “mental illness” for mass shootings, but refuse to do anything about it. The question - is why?

Clarence Thomas - a man who was credibly accused of sexual harassment, and is married to a woman who attempted to overthrow our government and is the very embodiment of bought and paid for judicial corruption, just tried to violate the Constitution again by further stripping American women of their right to bodily autonomy.
