This week, after months of bipartisan work and compromise, I signed a bill releasing $125 million to fight PFAS statewide. Make no mistake—this wouldn’t have happened without the fair maps I signed into law. It’s why I’m fighting to end partisan gerrymandering here for good.

James Talarico was out knocking on doors with and for Demarcus Offord who is running for Dallas County Clerk. James is constantly putting in the ground work to help down ballot candidates across the state. Connecting with the community and hearing from voters is the way to win

Texas is building the future of AI, but the Railroad Commission is ignoring our crumbling foundation. We have over 11,000 orphaned wells polluting our land and water while politicians chase photo ops. As an engineer, I’m ready to stop the leaks and start the real work.

While Orban continues to get shouted off stage with "Russians go home", opposition leader Magyar's crowds only grow anywhere he goes. We still have no doubt that Orban will refuse to leave no matter the result, then it'll be crowds like this that matter

Over $86 Billion. That’s how much chaotic Trump fees are costing Americans every year. The President promised to lower costs “on day one,” but his failed policies have only left Americans to foot the bill.

Texas & Florida rigged their maps to gerrymander their representation even more. Now Virginia has the chance to respond. This temporary move secures our future until the commission returns in 2031. Let us build a stronger VA. Vote YES by April 21st. #VirginiaIsForVotingYes

@brentmoney But it's perfectly acceptable to require schools to post the 10 commandments in every classroom and teach Bible studies on campus? Do you know the definition of the word "hypocrite"? Separate of church and state exists for a reason

WATCH: At the Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) hearing, Senator Bob Hall (SD-2) carefully laid out the serious dangers of teaching Sharia to our children. He explained why Sharia is incompatible with our constitutional republic and way of life, and insisted it should not be included in the curriculum except as a documented threat to Western civilization and American founding principles.

My daughter Annika is proudly autistic and 12 years old. She drew this butterfly from a photo she took herself — every vein, every scale, rendered by hand on a tablet. She signs everything she makes. Dates it. Like she already knows it matters. She's turning 13 tomorrow. Please share this for her birthday. Let's make her day.

When Trump told MAGA Republicans in TX, MO, OH and NC to redraw their maps to help Republicans in the midterms, Grandma @SenLouiseLucas said she would counter this in VA and she did. Now it’s time for the voters to do our part, #VirginiaIsForVotingYES on or before April 21.🥊🥊🥊

Trump and Republicans promised to lower costs on day one. That was a lie. Trump’s tariffs, his Big Ugly Bill, and his reckless war against Iran are driving prices up everywhere — at the pump, at the grocery store, at the doctor’s office. Gas prices just hit the biggest monthly spike in decades, jobs are down, and families are paying the price for their failed policies. Americans have been put last since the day Trump took office. You deserve better.

What Vance is saying is that we don't need a government that works for Texans, he just wants one that only works for his customers.... BILLIONAIRES!
Vance Ginn@VanceGinn

Texas does not need more taxpayer-funded spending on energy, healthcare, water, dementia institutes, movie subsidies, roads, or anything else called “investment.” Texans are already paying too much for governments at the state and local levels that have grown far beyond their limited roles. If the real goal is liberty and lasting prosperity, then the answer is not bigger budgets with more politically branded spending. The answer is to spend less, privatize more, and put Texas on a clear path to eliminating property taxes. That will take courage, discipline, and a willingness to stop confusing government expansion with conservative reform. The state funds budget has grown by 42% over the last two budget cycles, far above the roughly 25% increase in population growth plus inflation. That is not fiscal restraint. It is big-government conservatism laced with populism, and it will not end well if Texas keeps heading down this road. Texas has many advantages, but we should not rest on our laurels. We do not need more government management of the economy. We need less spending, lower taxes, stronger private property rights, and more room for families, entrepreneurs, and communities to solve problems without political interference. Spend less, prosper more. Privatize things like water, roads, and energy. Let people prosper. Glad to chat. Wreck em!

Dalai Lama@DalaiLama·
MESSAGE I wholeheartedly endorse the powerful appeal for peace made by the Holy Father, Pope Leo, during his Palm Sunday Mass. His call for the laying down of arms and the renunciation of violence resonated profoundly with me, as it speaks to the very essence of what all major religions teach. Indeed, whether we look to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism or any of the world's great spiritual traditions, the message is fundamentally the same: love, compassion, tolerance, and self-discipline. Violence finds no true home in any of these teachings. History has shown us time and again that violence only begets more violence and is never a lasting foundation for peace. An enduring resolution to conflict, including the ones we see in the Middle East or between Russia and Ukraine, must be rooted in dialogue, diplomacy and mutual respect — approached with the understanding that, at the deepest level, we are all brothers and sisters. I urge for and pray that the violence and conflicts may soon come to an end. DALAI LAMA 31 March 2026
