Massive thank you to every single person who wrote in and signed a petition calling for our suspensions to be reversed. My “temporary” suspension remains. I have received confirmation from the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards that they will assign an incomplete grade for all my courses with the opportunity to hand in the work once the suspension is lifted. My ban from campus remains. I was informed that I have a chance to appeal my suspension (which I will). The arrangement related to receiving incomplete grades relates to my status being an international student, the ability to remain an active student and being able keep my visa. They’re still dangling my future over my head in relation to the ongoing encampment. I’m undeterred and can’t wait to be able to return to campus to continue the work. Until then and always: Free Palestine.
