In this country, people have the right to criticise religion. But there’s a clear line between criticism and the degradation of women. What we’re seeing here is the sexualisation and humiliation of brown women. That should never be acceptable. This isn’t clever or empowering. it’s the public humiliation of one group of women by another group of women. Sad and pathetic.

I am aware of the disturbing incident targeting worshippers during Friday prayers outside the Baitul Mamur Mosque in Brooklyn, where a man praying was struck with an egg. 

That hateful act is unacceptable and an affront to the values that define us as New Yorkers.

I wonder if there is a corollary between WA Dem legislation and businesses shrinking or leaving WA State? I wonder if NOT spending money to focus on retail theft or low-level drug offenses has consequences? I wonder if it's a carbon tax adding $1.35 to $1.50 a gallon of gas in the state? Or maybe its death tax, or heck even a fun new unconstitutional income tax jammed down the citizens throat without a vote? Could it be the WA Dems stealing from pension funds to pay interest on debt for vapid do-nothing programs that have a forever funding mandate? WA Dems have had had 100% control of the state's purse strings and priorities for more than three decades.
