@MJGardnerProds Yes. Or today I just had to stop talking and ask them to repeat the question. Trouble is, then they try to explain it differently because they think I haven’t understood (fair), but I did understand. I just forgot. I mean, my, ahem, ‘friend’ forgot.

Which theatres & theatre companies have children’s shows available to watch online? Our 4 yo is obsessed with the CBeebies pantos so I’d like to use that enthusiasm to show him other stuff. Obvs I take him to the real thing too!

@EmilioLees @Peeple_Laura You could provide all of these things to make it as accessible as possible to all. But if you’re talking about one specific person you just need to ask them what they need I think. Good luck!

@EmilioLees I agree with @Peeple_Laura. Other possible adjustments might include dim lighting, a separate breakout room/chill out space, session plans sent in advance, video walk throughs of the spaces being used including parking and toilet facilities, pictures of the facilitators.

How do you make baby groups accessible to #Autistic parents/carers? What kinds of sensory adaptations can realistically made given the nature of the environment is overstimulating? Other than ear defenders I can't think of anything.

@mrjoeaustin I was assistant director for @BristolOldVic’s MainStage Xmas show this year through an openly advertised process. I’d never worked in the building or met anyone in the creative team before. I’m truly grateful for that experience & totally agree there needs to be more of this.

I'm fed up of the system for directors. For 20 years I've worked in the opera and theatre industry and during that time I've had perhaps 3 interviews to direct a production. D's get jobs by being friends with, schmoozing, charming and persuading the right people. 1/

I’m teaching a term on adaptation for @BristolOldVic adult co this autumn & would love to hear about other peoples fave theatre adaptations. I’m esp interested in finding some adaptations of things which are not literature/film & adaptations which are not true to the original.

Circus companies how do you make ballast work for putting a rig up in an indoor venue? Would love to chat to anyone that's use ballast and what the best solution is? We've previously used bricks that we've hired but now wondering if water ballast might be easier?
