⁦@ONgov⁩ #SchoolReopening plan funds $2K/school for 1-day of staff health & safety training. 1. Teachers should not be expected to function as infection control officers. 2. $2K and 1-day are inadequate. 3. Training should be funded and offered to parents and kids too.

"More haste, less speed" should not be the @ongov #SafeSeptember motto. Schools in high-risk communities will be shuttered by October if we rush to open them by Labour day. Let's take the time to hire new staff, open new spaces, and integrate in-house infection control experts.
