They’ve already announced their commitment to schism in the future so they are schismatic non-Catholics already. If you announce you will commit adultery tomorrow you are an adulterer today.

@CathoConser @Amandasmylife Consecrating bishops without Papal approval is a schismatic act which leads to automatic excommunication. Obedience is crucial to being saved and disobedience will not be tolerated in Heaven. It’s not God’s church that is destroying the SSPX but the SSPX themselves.

@sq9wjg Oh no no no. The Bible condemns sodomy as a sin that cries out to Heaven for vengeance. Where does the Bible say good Catholics consecrating Bishops during a derelict Pope commit a worse sin than sodomy?

@CathoConser In that case we agree, I also think the pope should give then the bishops. But consecrating them if he doesn't is a grave sin, a sin worse than sodomy.

@sq9wjg No, I'm saying the Pope is in error for not authorizing these Bishops. I don't believe I've ever said the SSPX should. I think they are justified, but I'm not sure I would do it without prolonged public campaigns.

@CathoConser Like schism? Yes, they are devils, they balance and try what they can to not get excommunicated. You are good at heart but proud and you just outright reject the pope's authority on ordination of bishops. In the end, you both end up outside the Church.

@CathoConser SSPX is not part of the Catholic Church. They don't submit to the Pope. They don't accept an ecumenical council. By the cannon law, They decided to leave the Church. Does not matter if they are growing. Pentecostalism is also growing.... But outside the Church.
