This week St Francis’ will be celebrating the Platinum Jubilee with a variety of activities including our Royal Market Day on Friday, 27th May from 2:15; parents are warmly invited to join us.

Yesterday children were asked to wear their favourite odd socks to symbolise that we are all different and that they should be themselves. #Anti-BullyingWeek2021

This year Bike to School Week takes place from 27th September to 1st October 2021. For the first time, we want to try and track how many families take part. Together we celebrate cycling and scooting and the massive benefits this brings to children's health.

The final weeks of school are always the most memorable! Children were able to take part in our Sports Day for 2021. Whilst the children all took part in their phase bubbles they were all able to take part in a carousel of exciting activities. #sportsday #wellnesswarriors

Congratulations to our KS2 winners.

It's finally Science Day, we are all so excited to see you as awesome young scientists. To motivate and inspire you here are the Innovation Science Poster competition winners.

There will also be our annual 'Gadget Shop' available all week during play and lunchtimes where the children can buy their favourite gadgets ranging from 50p to £3.

All day, the children will work as junior scientists, carrying out science experiments and STEM challenges, evaluating the results, and drawing conclusions. In addition, our Year 5 and 6 students will conduct research for a presentation on Covid 19. #BSW21

On Friday 28th May we will be celebrating our Annual Science Day. This year's theme is 'Innovating for the Future,' and we would like the children to bring in a self-designed lab coat to wear on the day. @ScienceWeekUK @STEMLearningUK #GenerationScience

AS part of @TfL travel actively campaign we are launching a poster competition at our school. To participate, travel actively to school one morning and then create a poster about the unexpected fun you came across along the way! The deadline is Monday 29th March. Good luck!
