Yall don’t realize this yet, but Iran knows they can just wait Trump out. He is only allowed to use military force for 90 days without congressional approval and that expires next week. Congress won’t pass it, and Iran can gain huge leverage if they just wait us out.

This is such a dumb argument. Every president in my lifetime has repeatedly said Iran can't have nukes; no one is denying Trump said it too. The issue is that he campaigned on "no new wars", specifically in the Middle East. Yet he launched us into a broad conflict in the Middle East even after claiming the nuclear sites were "completely obliterated" in June 2025 and that Iran's nuclear program was set back several years. To this day, the public has not been shown the clear imminent threat to the U.S. that justified this war. Under the Constitution and under the War Powers Resolution, the President cannot unilaterally start a war without Congressional approval unless there is an immediate threat to our nation. By bypassing Congress without providing that evidence, he is violating the separation of powers. That lack of transparency, combined with the total reversal on his non-interventionist/America First stance, is why people are frustrated.
