Dear Catholics, remember that from this evening, Saturday before the 5th Sunday in Lent, the crucifixes and other sacred images in our homes/Churches will be veiled in purple cloth. The Crucifix will remain covered until the celebration of the Lord’s Passion on Good Friday while other sacred images remain covered until the beginning of the Easter Vigil.

@georgediano That is Kinale Forest. If you overfly the place in a chopper, you will find it is just the highway illusion of a forest. Those trees are only approximately 30 yards (10 rows of trees) inwards. Immediately after that is a huge unplanned settlement and hundreds of grabbed plots.

Very disturbing to see that this very serene beautiful view along Nairobi/Nakuru highway at kimende near soko mjinga may soon be no more. The site that has been soothing our eyes for decades. Kenyans we need to wake up, otherwise we are loosing it as a country. Wamemaliza Yote!!

@_James041 Money meant for schools in Nyanza built schools in Mount Kenya, but it is time every Kenyan enjoys equal share of development. But I thought schools were under the national government, and County Governments mandate is limited to ECDE.

Homabay County Government has 558 Bank Accounts, A county that has only 20 Departments. Frame one is Kodido Primary School, Frame Two is Andigo Primary School. Schools in Homabay are pathetic while County officials are looting and abducting whistleblowers. We don't have a country here.
