Qustion: If you’re now suing Prince Harry for defamation, claiming that he ruined your reputation and therefore destroyed the charity’s ability to fundraise, after previously saying his brand was so toxic that you couldn’t fundraise because of him (even though he has raised tens of millions for the charity)....then why is he still front and center on your website? Oh, right. Because Sophie Chandauka has realized she fucked up. Not only did she run Sentebale into the ground after nearly 20 years of good work, but she now understands that she and the charity are nothing without Prince Harry. She’s also discovering that no one wants to work with her, she’s essentially unhirable, and she’s now scrambling to get some money with this lawsuit. According to multiple reports and statements from former trustees, when she became chair of Sentebale (a role that has traditionally been unpaid and voluntary), she asked the board or trustees for a $300,000 salary. Sophie apparently thought Sentebale would make her money.
