Three years ago today, my darling Mum died of Covid six weeks after my Dad. I’m thinking of all those who lost their lives; all those suffering the pain of bereavement and all those who did and continue to do their best to help their fellow human beings through this catastrophe.

It’s hard to put into words just what a loss @RadioAndrewE is to local radio and the BBC. A rare thing in broadcasting - someone who’s incredible talent is matched by his kindness, generosity and willingness to help others. A finer presenter, and gentleman you will never meet.

OK so I’m lachrymose anyway but this surprise send off for ⁦@RadioAndrewE⁩ after his last show on ⁦@BBCRadioLeeds⁩ was a total tear jerker.
